*Gold Leaf Gilding*

Gold Leaf: extremely thin & lightweight foil sheets used for gilding picture frames & artworks. Add an antique look to crockery, pottery or jewellery. A composite LEAF of copper, zinc & brass alloy, needs to be applied with an adhesive known as SIZE. Once the leaf has been secured & is dry, a coat of oil base VARNISH is applied.
